The contact-free model from the Natural Care line gives a reading in one second and works without touching the skin, including on a sleeping child. Above 38 °C it signals with a vibration alarm rather than a beep, and the last 32 results stay in memory.

Body temperature is measured from 32 to 43 °C at +/- 0.2 °C accuracy, with additional modes for surfaces and ambient temperature. Results are shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit on a white LED display, and the unit powers down by itself after a short pause. Two AAA batteries are included.
