A silicone teether for the stretch when the first teeth come through. Its uneven surface massages the gums and so eases itching and soreness; the material is pliable and free of bisphenol A.

The item is light and small enough for a baby's mouth and hands, which sets it apart from heavier teething toys. Durable silicone allows cleaning between uses.

In store this is a classic impulse item at the till or beside the soothers; online it performs as a top-up on a larger order. For childcare settings it mainly serves as a spare in the care cupboard. The low unit price makes a broader buy across colours or prints defensible. Supplied per piece.
